Tools greyed out

I am new if you can not tell, anyway when I go to the tools menu everything is greyed out and I can not select anything, what should I activate first.

Hi Brett,

Thanks for the question.

All tools are enabled immediately after you load a model.
You can apply any tools before you build the simplification
hierarchy. But after the simplification hierarchy has been
constructed, all tools are disabled.
