No I think that it is impossible to get rid of the system menu.
You can of course maximize the Balancer viewing area by clicking '+'
in the upper left corner, close all the windows including the toolbar
from the menu/Window or by clicking on 'x' of the docking windows.
But right now there is no pure full screen mode.
I've heard something about full screen mode for regular applications
in Mac OS X 10.7. We will check what can be done before 10.7 comes out.
