Balancer 1.2 is available, now with selective density control
Balancer 1.2 is available! and has the features many of you requested.
Now you can control face densities for selective reduction rate of
different groups/meshes/sub-meshes. For example, you can set
density of 5 to the head group of your model, to increase the density
of the head vertices roughly 5 times.
All the new features:
- Densities for selective reduction rate of different groups/sub-meshes
- Locking of different groups/sub-meshes
- Multiple selection
- Selection by material:
double-click on a material to select all the groups/sub-meshes with this material
The Balancer guide will be updated soon to reflect
the latest features.

I have a new request, when I want to export a mesh from my design tool, I hope to reserve all the bone weights for each vertex, but obj format can not save those information, all bone weights are lost. So I have to repaint the reduced mesh again in the design tool.
I know I can do it in maya, but I don't like such a huge tool.
Is this for Mac also? Thanks and if so how do I get it?
